General Tso's Chicken on Christmas

Can be made in under 10 minutes.

Ever ate at a Chinese food place and had a certain chicken called "General Tso's Chicken"? The sweet chicken with a hint of hot spice. Well I have a recipe that takes that and makes it great for any occasion, whether it can be a holiday like Christmas or Thanksgiving, or an appetizer for them guy's nights where the boys come over for the big game. It is a sweet deep fried chicken dish served in American Chinese restaurants (and popular in the buffet line).

Ingredients

* 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
* 1 medium onion diced, sliced or minced (your preference)
* 3 Table spoons chili powder
* 3 teaspoons oil (your preference, mine is olive oil)
* Sauce
* 1/2 cup flour
* 1 1/2 table spoons fresh garlic, minced
* 1 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup white vinegar
* 2 ½ cups water
* 1 table spoon chicken bouillon

Directions

1. Mix the sauce ingredients in a medium size bowl and chill for 5 minutes
2. Fry the onion until browned set aside
3. After sauce is chilled add the chili powder to sauce and stir
4. Add oil into wok or any kind of skillet or frying pan you have, and wait till oil is crackling (Not popping).
5. Dip chicken slices into sauce and fry till fully cooked.
6. With extra sauce add onions and serve in a dipping bowl
7. Now dip the fried chicken in your onion sauce and chow down!
